Let the Blogging Begin!
It's 5:00 a.m. in Mississippi, and I am up and as ready as I ever am at 5:00 a.m. to get the day started, so let's start blogging! Joanna and I are going to tag team today to add something new to this blog every thirty minutes for 24 continuous hours. If I think I'm sleepy now, I can't wait for 5:00 tomorrow morning!
We'll be talking about Pearlington, the people there, what they've been through this year, what others can do to help, and what people have already done and how much it has already helped.
We ask that people who are able give something to the cause as a way of sponsoring the blogathon. Remember every little bit helps, whether its $10 or $100. Donations can be made by clicking the "Make a Donation" link to the righthand side of the blog or by clicking the "University Baptist Church" link to get the mailing address. Money will go toward building supplies for people in Pearlington who lost their homes in Katrina.
